The reason Stanley stage name was MC Hammer was because when he would sing it would have a beat to it. He was also the type of guy who believed in Hip Hop/Rap was all about money , cars , drugs and etc.

Tupac Amaru was born in , June 16 ,1971 in East Harlem NY. He will be later known as Tupac as a popular Hip Hop singer although he suffered a fatal death in 1996 where he was shot in boxing area and his last words were " fuck you".

Melissa Arnette Elliott was born July 1 ,1971 and was regularly abused by Ronnie who was a marine. In 1985 , they left Ronnie after being tired of his abuse. Missy Elliot joined a group of friends and made a group which enhanced her skills. After she left and released her own album in 1997 called "Supa Dupa Fly".

Curtis James Jackson III was born July 6 , 1975 in South Jamaica , Queens. He suffered a fatal childhood. His mother was murdered when he was 12 and turned to selling drugs. Soon later he was arrested and decided to make a change. He went to rap and was named 50 Cent which means a change. He is married and has one son named Marquise Jackson.

More Bands Start Popping Up
First came African Americans in the Hip Hop/Rap societies but after many performances , many other types of people came to Hip Hop/Rap. So by the 1980's , white bands started appearing all around the world. Some of the popular bands are Beastie Boys and Salt-n-Pepa during the 1980's and were reaching the top of the chart.

Growing Up
