The Intolerable Acts
After the Boston Tea Party, King George the III and Parliament noticed that they were losing control of the colonies. They punished Boston by passing a series of laws called the Intolerable Acts thats violated the colonists' rights. Stamp act

Boston Massacre
The Boston massacre was a fight between the patriots and the British soldiers. A couple patriots started to throw sticks and stones at the British soldiers which angered them to a point where they started to shoot in a crownd killing five colonists and wounding many others. Tea Act

Boston Tea Party

2nd Continental Congress
Delegates from the 13 colonies met in Philadelphia. -
1st Continental Congress
Colonial leaders started to find out that the colonies needed to work together to oppose the British policies. 12 of the 13 colonies' delegates met in Philadelphia for the First Continental Congress to discuss problems with Britain. Midnight Ride: Revere, Cheswell, Dawes
A group of British Soldiers were seen gathering in Boston. Paul Revere, Wentworth Cheswell, and William Dawes found out about them and rode to Lexington to warn Samuel Adams, John Hancock and everyone else that the British were coming. -
