The British won this war although the British had a lot of debt from it. THe British taxed colonists making them angry. -
The Proclamation of 1763
The Proclomation of 1763 said that Colonists could not move west of the Applachian mountains for their safety. -
The Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was when the British made it a law that colonist had to pay a tax on pieces of paper and to prove that they paid they put stamps on them. -
The Quartering Act
The quartering act was when colonist were taced to pay for houses or "quartsers for soldiers. They were also required to pay for food, water, etc. -
The Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was when some British soldiers shot a few protesting colonists claiming they heard the command fire. 6 people died and 2 were wounded. -
The Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was when Colonists dressed up as native american soldiers and got on the boats with the tea they were being taxed for and threw the tea in the lake. -
The Revolutionary War
The Revolutionary War was a war fought by the soon to be American and the British. AMerica won but if we didn't we would still be in controlby the British. -
The Intolerable Acts
After the Boston Tea Party happened, the British wer e furious and made acts that were terrible to colonists. -
The Battle of Lexington
The Battle of Lexington was the battle that started the whole Revolutionary War. -
The Declaration of Independence.
THe Declaration of Independence said that we were no longer ruled by the British but we were a country, a country called the United States of America.
