How Social Media has Changed Society

  • WhatsApp

Cause: This site allows users to create group chats with others. Effect: Who needs to call someone when they can just text them on a group chat.
  • Tinder

Cause: This website allowed users to connect, for the purpose of romance. Effect: No longer do men and women need to meet in the "real world" prior to agreeing to go on a date. Now they can just swipe right or left.
