Made it so women and childrens work days couldn't last longer than ten hours in factories, -
Representation of the People Act 1867
Granted the right to vote to men who paid rent of at least £10 a year, this nearly doubled the number of men who could vote. -

The Act led to development of the schools away from the traditional exclusively classics-based curriculum, to something some what more modern.
