This was a period of violence while setting up the Kansas territory. -
John Brown's Rain on Harper's Ferry
John Brown attacked or "raided" Harper's Ferry to try to get free slave strongholds. He was captured during the fight and the battle had ended. John was execuited for trying to overpower a military stronghold.
