    Mac OS X was an upgrade from the original Mac OS and gave users a more reliable systems to run several applications at once. This OS was also a larger operating system to the original 32 bit.

    MySpace was not the first social media site but it did begin to reignite the use of social media and being able to connect with others, shortly after Facebook took over.

    The iPod shuffle was released before the nano and the one with a screen. This allowed a new portable way to play music and the one with the screen allowed visual experience of music as well.

    Android releases their first phone
    The Mobile G1 being released caused further division between phone users. Android began to have loyal customers, as did Apple. It had an 3.2 inch touch screen which was considered a large screen at the time.
