    French revolution

It began because the poor/3rd estate thought they were treated unfairly and decided to do something about it. They went so far as to eventually kill their king because monarchy wasn't working anymore and then elected a great general just like how "George Washington" was . His name was Napolean Bonaparte and was an elected monarch making their revolution a success because they had a vote. That was what the revolution's goal was.

    SISK French Revolution

The revolution first began because France had financial problems and the poor were being oppressed simply for being poor and the fact that they had no power. This lead to a revolt and they eventually decided to leave and to try to create their own government/system. They got the Declaration of the rights of man because of riots and protests. Monarchy and the church were taken out temporarily. Napolean Bonaparte became leader. The revolution was a success because they got a vote and equality.
  • Meeting of the estates general

There was a meeting to solve the financial crisis in France. There was one problem. The third estate always got outvoted by the clergy and nobles which put the third estate in a spot that always lost. That meant that the third estate had to bear the burn for the 1st and 2nd estate with money they didn't have. They then had the tennis court oath where they stayed until the first and second estate rewrote the constitution that had been made.
  • Drafting a French Constitution

The government along with someone enlightenment thinkers decided to get rid of the so called, "ancient regime" and decided to make the declaration of the rights of man and citizen. This meant that everyone was equal, besides women, and anyone could have land.
  • The Guillotine

The guillotine was a machine used for the death penalty during the revolution and a while after. They thought this was good because everyone got an equal death punishment. This invention was created by Joseph guillotine, hence the name. This machine was used so often during the revolution. If your name got on a list or if someone had a suspicion you could get killed by this machine even though you may be innocent. The final victim of this was Maximillian Robespierre, a corrupt leader.
  • The rise of new leader (elected)

The revolution got a rid of the monarchy for the most part. This time they did get to vote and they chose Napolean Bonaparte who was a war general and a great one. He is the reason they won the war during the time. He lowered the price of bread and expanded farming. He also created a great military. He did rule France but he was chosen so they didn't care nearly as much and actually liked it.
