Ipods replaced CD players
I remember when ipods first came out. Everyone was so excited to have portable music they could download, and listen to whatever they wanted without having to worry about a CD player. MP3 players were also popular at this time too. Limewire viruses were a nightmare.

My first game system
This was the first game system I remember playing. It helped form an even better bond with my parents because we could play mario games that they played when they were kids. AIM Instant Messenger Connecting with friends
AIM was a way for us all to connect with each other whether it was about gossip or homework assignments. We had a better way of connecting with one another aside from the dreaded phone call to home where we had to speak to their parents. -
Myspace and Coding
While Myspace became a way to connect and form friendships with each other online, it also became a sandbox for learning how to code HTML so we could make those cool backgrounds and customize our profiles. -
SmartBoards
While Smartboards came out in 2003 for classroom use in most schools, my school did not get one until about 2008. I remember our history teacher and all of us playing on the SmartBoard trying to figure out how to work it.
