First Meeting
We decided on our goals and topic for the project -
Order the Recycling bins
We contacted Johnny Yvars at the Mooresville Sanitation Department, who helped us pick a date for the recycling bins to be dropped off. -
Research and Proposal
We researched our topic and sent out emails to the principles of all the schools in the district toak permission to do the project at their school. -
Met with Mr. Royal
We met with Mr. Royal to explain our project goals and he agreed to cooperate with the project and help to get the other schools on board. -
Met with Dr. Marsh
We met with Dr. Marsh at South Elementary to explain our project, she also agreed to allow us to do our project at the elementry school. -
Met with Mr. Cottone
We met with Mr. Cottone at Park View abot how we would raise awareness of our project. -
Received and delivred Recycling Bins
Our recycling bins were delivered to the parking lot by the tennis courts and we delivered them all to te 8 schools in the district. -
Hang posters around MHS
We hung up posters around campus to promote our recycling bins -
Hang flyers around MIS and Magnollia
We travelled to MIS and Magnolia to hang up posters at the schools -
Hang posters around Parkview, EMIS and South

We collected 8 bags of plastic bottles fom South -
Send out Survey
We put our survey in the announcements on Angel for MHS, MMS, MIS and EMIS -
Collect Bottles
We collected bottles from EMIS, MMS, MIS, and Park View -
Collect Bottles
Collected bottls from MIS, MMS, South and Rocky River, and counted the bottles that we accumulated thus far. -
