    Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah al- Thani
    Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah al- Thani was born on the 1st of september. His reign was one of the prosperous periods and it led to an increase in oil production. On December 31, 1949, first oil shipment exported from dukhan field petrol and the country quickly progressed towards stability. On September 1st, 1952, an agreement was signed with Iraq Petroluem Company. Later, it was changed to Qatar Oil Company.

    Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al- Thani was born in 3rd of June 1980. He recieved primary, prepatory and secondary education in Qatari schools. He joined Sandhurst Military School in the United Kingdom where he graduated in 1971. He was the first Qatari to take over as the Commander in Chief of the Qatar Armed Forces. He was chosen as Crown Prince in 1977. His Highness took over as the Emir of Qatar in 1995. Qatar also stepped forward and played an important role.

    Sheikh Ahmed bin Ali al- Thani was born on the 3rd of Septemember 1960.On October 24, 1960, he became the ruler of Qatar. He established the Ministry of Finance in 960. He issued the transitional constitution on April, 1970. Gulf countries began asking for independence during his rule. Britian decided to withdraw from the Gulf States. Britian acknowledge the independence of Qatar on September 3, 1971.

    Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad al- Thani was born in 17th of september 1972. He established democracy and confirming the shoura as a way of goverance. Taking part in establishing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)min 1981. Setting up many economic and social projects such as investing the North Gas Field. Taking part in a numbe of Arab meetings and strengthened the relations between Qatar and many other countries around the world. Inaugurating Qatar University and Hamad General Hospital.

    Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al- Thani was born on the 3rd of June 1980. In 1997, he graduated from Sherbone Secondary School in the UK. In 1998, he graduated from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK.
