    The year the war started/ended was 1756-1763. The main reason that the French and British fought, was that they wanted to build forts on the land by the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers.The french won the early victories. But the British came out and won the whole war.When the British won the had to pay a huge debt.

    The Treaty of Paris was signed on 10 February 1763 by Great Britain, France and Spain, with Portugal in agreement.The effect on the french was that they lost almost all of their land. The British got the Ohio Valley. They also got the port out of New Orleans and Louisiana Territory.

    The elements of Native American tribes primarily from the Great Lakes region, the Illinois Country, and Ohio Country who were dissatisfied with British postwar. The pontic's war got it's name from Cheif Pontiac.
    The outbreak of the war scared the Britain to issue the Proclamontion of 1763. It caused the colonists to buy, sell, or move by Appalachian Mountains

    The proclamination of 1763 was to prevent colonists from moving west. The purpose of this law was to organize Great Britian's American empire. The colonist became angry at the law because many of the already had land in the area west of the Applation.

    It was a modified version sugar and molasses.The reason the passed the law was to place a tax on all sugar. The colonists thought the sugar act took all of the basic right.

    The stamp act was an attempt to raise money. The reason they passed this law was because they wanted the colonists to pay tax on every printed thing (like newspaper, stamps, etc.). The colonist responded immediately to the law. There was a difference in the colonists reaction to the stamp act and the sugar act. It was that the colonists thought that the sugar act took their basic rights and in the stamp act they reacted immediately.

    The quatering act required the colonist to provide barracks and supplies to British troops.The purding pose of this law was to allow Britian to keep a standing army. The colonists had to provid barracks and supplies to British troops. the colonists reacted by protesting, threated to kill the king, killed some of the British solders.

    The reason the stamp act congress was held because it disscused the problems the new tax laws caused. There were 6 colonies represented. The declaration and grivances, it declared that taxes imposed on British colonists without their formal consent was unconstitutional.

    The law was named after Charles Townshend. Townshend wanted to strengthen the power of the British parliament which would simultaneously strengthen the power of royal officials. The items that were taxed was lead, paper, glass, and tea. They led outrage in the 13 colonies.

    King George III was irritated with the colonists in America. Because they didn’t want to pay their taxes on lead, glass, paint, wine and tea. In 1768 King George sent 4,000 British troops, he also sent warships to the colonists. To show them that England was in control of them. The colonists were not allowed to own their own guns or have any say about their property. The Boston Massacre was the killing of 5 colonists by British soldiers.

    In my opinion I think the Boston Massacure was not fair. Beacuse it was not fair to tax everything that colonists needed to buy. They couldn’t own their own guns to defend themselves. The famous american that defended the british troops was John Adam. If he did nothing he thought, white people might be killed by the mob.

    Allowed the British East India Company to sell tea directly to the colonists. It was to help Britian's merchants because they were having a hard tme paying taxes. A possession or control of the supply trade in service.

    The Boston Tea Party was a raid on three British ships by citizens disguised as indians. They threw hundreds of cheats of tea into the harbor.The cause was that British put tax on all of the tea. There was about 46 tons (92,000 pounds) thown into the harbor.The group that was responible for the Boston Tea Party was Sons of Liberty. The British responded by making the Intolerable Acts.

    The intolerable acts were a series of punitive laws passed bt=y the British Parliament.The other name for the intolerable acts was Coercive Acts. There were 4 laws apart of the intolerable acts.The key parts in the intolerable acts were. The British closed all of Boston's Ports until the colonist's payed for the tea they destroyed during the Boston Tea Party. British restricted colonist to have government/committees/town meetings.

    The meeting was held because it brought together represenativeas from each colony, except Gerogia, to discuss their responce to the Intolerable Acts. There were 12 colonies represented, there 343 men there. The two things the colonies agreed was :1. boycott British goods 2. have a counsel of saftey for every colony. The key people that attended the meeting was Joesph Galloway and Sulffolle contry.

    The reason the british military headed to concord because they were going to collect dangerous wepons stored by the colonial milita. A confrontation on the Lexington town green started the fighting, and soon the British were hastily retreating under intense fire. A member of a class of American militiamen who volunteered to be ready for service at a minute's notice. Hundreds of British troops marched from Boston to nearby Concord in order to seize an arms cache.

    During the meeting the congress discussed the printing paper money, they also talked about if the wanted to break away from Britain entirely, and they talked place the colonies in a state of defence. The Olive Branch Petition was adopted by the Continental Congress in July 1775 in a fortified attempt to avoid a full-blown war between the Thirteen Colonies that the Congress represented.

    The colonists intended to build a fort 160 feet long and 30 feet high atop Bunker Hill.The colonists actually built their defences on Breeds Hill. The Americans were led by Colonel William Prescott. The British were led up the hill by General William Howe who was in control of the British troops. The British’s planned on taking over the hills around Boston to gain advantage. They chose this strategy because it would be a head start to winning for them.
