Shaped by History

  • Greek Heritage

The Golden Age of Athens is the most important because it is when art, drama, and literature were improved. It impacts me because I love painting and doing drama and because of the Greeks I am able to paint and there are other paintings to inspire me. I go to museums to see different paintings. Then I think of them when I am painting then paint something of my own.

  • Glory of Ancient Rome

The Pax Romana was the time where there was peace in Rome. It’s the most important because democracy was at its highest and there was more peace; more architecture and regions were stable. For example i can go to school and live in peace. I can do a lot of things in peace with no one disturbing me.
  • Europe in the Middle Ages

Christianity. It is the most important because it gives sense of security and the churches give donations. For example because of Christianity I can pray in a church and feel safe because God is there to protect me. I always go pray on a Sunday and I feel safe when I go because I know God is protecting me.
  • Glories of the rennaisance

    I burnt metal everyday
    I practiced this everyday
    And now chemistry
    is how it is
    Because of me
  • The Renaissance of Ancient Rome

    Michelangelo
An artist, architect who wrote poems
Who made statues and we know them
    Who made them realistic
    And not that simplistic

People can make machines to make and produce materials. People made machines to also make life easier, for example the calculator, it makes people do math quicker instead of writing it down. A lot of machines were created.Example: sewing machines were made to sew fabric to turn them into clothes that we wear.
  • Society

A society could have improvements but it can also have negative effects like disease. People can go to other places to find jobs.Example: Because there are more jobs and improvements in society, people migrate from the outskirts to the city to get new jobs.
  • Government

the government can take over and be in charge.
Example: The government creates the laws that we have to follow and if we don't, we have to face the consequences.
