Shackleton, his crew and ship have been stranded for many months. -
Frightening sounds of crushing wood
Shackleton and the crew hear wood crushing and watch the ship sinking it is what they had feared. -
Hard to pull
The crew pulled three life boats to the edge of the ice and soongot very tired and couldn't pull any more. -
Stinky Dangers
The men smelled horrible it had been more than a year now that they'd not taken baths they wewree off to Elephant Island. In the middle of their journey they stopped and made camp on an ice floe while they slept the floe cracked and a man fell in. Shack picked him up out of the water. -
Open water
The men finally reached open water they were closer to Elephant Island! They became very thirsty they had swollen tongues. -
Land Ho!
They saw Elephant Island from a distance. iI looked totally barren. -
More water ?
They reached Elephant Island still it was barren. Soon after (5 days),Shackleton and five men were off to South Georgia Island (800 miles). -
