    Unhappy with the prospect of a Catholic ruler, Parliament exerts it's will over the monarchy forcing a new king loyal to them on the throne

    William signs the Bill of rights which limit the powers of the monarchy, guarantee liberties of the privileged and monarchs would henceforth be ruled and subjected to laws by Parliament creating a limited monarchy and one equal to Parliament.
