Milam was armed to Till's great uncle house and abducted the poor boy. They took him and started beating him, they started to mutilate him before they shot and killed the poor boy. September 1955, Bryant and Milam were acquitted by the white jury for Till's kidnapping. -

The little rock nine is a little group of nine African Americans. They were enrolled at a formerly all white central high school. The little rock nine group attended at the same school was a test of Brown vs. Board of education. September 4, 1957 was the first day of classes at central high school. The national guard was blocking the African Americans from coming in. -
Loving vs Virgina
was a nationalSupreme Court case that confused state laws banning interracial marriage. The couple, Richard and Mildred Loving, a interracial marriage was was considered illegal by the state of Virgina. the couple appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, which ruled unanimously they were unconstitutional under the 14th Amendment. 1963 March On Washington
The March On Washington was a large protest of many people around 250,000 people, gathered around Lincoln memorial in Washington D.C to protest for African american people freedom ,rights and jobs. They created this protest to seize peoples attention on the challenges many of them face.This is where the famous "i have a dream' speech was performed.
