Lionel Stenberger was a 16 year old kid who was a fry cook at his fathers sandwich shop called "The Rite Spot". He put a slab of american cheese on a hamburger and people liked it so it stated. -

The stock market was created for people who wanted to invest in other people and make money. In 1929, over 16 million shares were traded or dumped because the market was crashing. Once people started dumping their money it kept going down and down and the banks ran out of money to give to the people. -

Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected in 1932, Franklin or FDR was born on January 30, 1882. He was born in Hyde Park, New York. He was elected when the great depression was at a low and he attempted to help us get out of the hole. -
III Start of the Holocost
The Holocost is the most well known genocide in history, the Holocaust resulted in the death of 11 million, 6 million of which were Jews. Hitler, the leader of Nazi Germany led this. They went thru villages and took anyone that looked Jewish and took them to camps to work them to death or killed them on sight. -
CCC
The CCC or Civilian Conservation Corps was founded by FDR in the 1933's. Their main goal was to be a public work relief that would give people money so that they could have money during the great depression. It was originally for people ages 17-25 but expanded to 17-28 when they realized that more people needed money. They cleaned up forests and other things that they government needed them todo. They were given a place to sleep and food and money that they could send back to their families. -
Social Security Act
The Social Security act was a system that gave old-age benefits to people who had liabilities. You were given Social Security if you were hurt during work and if you have family that was given money for consumption. -

Operation Overlord was a raid on Normandy. While Operation Neptune also known as D-Day was launched on the same day. The battles lasted months because of how many Germans there were. -
