    The New York Assembly passed that enslaved African American’s cannot testify against white American’s. This started the continuous segregation of African American's indentured servants. Many African American's were not even allowed to talk in a group publicly if the group had more than 3 people. Many White American's treated slaves poorly in the 1700's.     Court case that enabled the term "separate but equal". Plessy refused to sit in a all black passenger car. After this court case, the Supreme Court decided that the "separate but equal" term was not unequal.This created separate public facilities for blacks and whites like bathrooms, water fountains, public transportation, and more. They constantly had issues towards minorities when selecting students that went to their school. This became illegal for the school to do so in their public school as well as their law school. This one really stuck out to me because the issues that people used to face are still happening, when most people don't think so. We still treat minorities especially African Americans differently and we have to come up with a solution to social equality.
