  • 1946 Governer's Race

    Governer's Race The Governer's Race is where no one knew who should become governer afte Eugene Talmadge, who had just been elected, died. His son declared himself governer, but the luitenent governer was also trying to declare himself as governer.
  • Herman Talmadge

    Herman Talmadge Herman Talmade was the son of Eugene Talmadge who when his father got elected as governer and died shortly after,took his place. This caused a problem because not everyone agreed with Herman being governer. This led to the "Governer's Race."
