Salsa Sauce
The history of Salsa sauce originated with the Inca people. Salsa (combination of chilies, tomatoes and other spices) can be traced to the Aztecs, Mayans and Incas. The Spaniards first encountered tomatoes after their conquest of Mexico in 1519-1521, which marked the beginning of the history of Salsa sauce. -

Spain invaded Mexico. Spanish food had most influence Mexican cuisine. They introduced the Mexican livestock, cow, sheep, and pigs. They brought with them dairy products, and garlic as well as many differnet herbs, wheat, and spices. -
Chocolate
The Aztecs brought chocolate with them too. -

The taco predates the arrival of Europeans in Mexico.
