The World Wide Web is an information space where documents and other web resources are identified by URLs, interlinked by hypertext links, and can be accessed by the Internet. The World Wide Web was invented by English scientist Tim Berners-Lee in 1989. He wrote the first web browser in 1990. -

Oklahoma City Bombing
The Oklahoma City bombing was a domestic terrorist bomb attack on the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City on April 19 1995. Carried out by Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols the bombing destroyed one-third of the building, killed 168 people and injured more than 680 others. The blast destroyed or damaged 324 other buildings within a 16-block radius, shattered glass in 258 nearby buildings, and destroyed or burned 86 cars, caused over $600 mil in damage. -
Mother teresa dies
Mother Teresa also known as Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, was a Roman Catholic religious sister and missionary. She was born in Skopje, then part of the Kosovo Vilayet in the Ottoman Empire. After having lived in Macedonia for eighteen years, she moved to Ireland and then to India, where she lived for most of her life.
