    Play Years

  • Joined gymnastics and learned to tumble and do kart wheels

  • 3-4 years old played dress up with my mom’s wedding veil and shoes

  • At 4 years old I favored my left hand. Was decidedly left handed. (biosocial)

  • 1988 found memories of mom driving me to kindergarten in California and alternating between McDonalds and the donut shop. We called it biscuit day and donut day. I loved that

  • 1988 found memory of driving to kindergarten class with mom and seeing a cat look both ways before he crossed the street. I thought that was funny and told the whole class and my Grandma when I got home.

  • 1988 won a blue ribbon for an art project in my kindergarten class. “A coffee filter with food coloring drops.” (psychosocial)

  • 1988-1989 tested for dyslexia and put in a program for dyslexic children. (biosocial)

  • 1989 got my first pair of roller-skates.

  • 1990-Moved from California to Michigan to start elementary school

  • 1990-1991 started 1st grade at Figele Elementary with the worst 1st grade teacher in the world. Bad experience.

    The School years

  • Met my 4 best friends that would go all the way through middle school with me. Anya, Alyssa, Amanda, and Lauren

  • Second grade, my first sleep over at Anya’s house. (psychosocial)

  • Went swimming with my friends at the YMCA weekly, Got my first CD, My first cat, created a story of my own in school.

  • In 5th grade I started my period before everyone else. (biosocial)

  • 5th grade DARE graduation and Elementary school graduation.

  • Started middle school

  • Always beat boys in arm-wrestling contest because I was bigger and stronger than them. That changed in high school. I was 5’5 and 110 lbs in 6th grade. My brother called me the jolly green giant. I stayed 5’5 and 130 lbs all the way through high school.

  • Started reading novels. My first big novel was Steven King’s “The Dark Half”

  • First leaned scientific method. Thought I would never use it again. HA!! (cognitive)

  • First real crush on a boy.

  • Got braces

  • Started Plymouth Canton Highschool

    Adolescence

  • Diagnosed with depression ( biosocial)

  • My brother had his first child, I became an aunt.

  • My first kiss/boyfriend (psychosocial)

  • Got my driver’s license and my first car. (psychosocial)

  • High school graduation

  • Started Schoolcraft college

  • Met my husband

  • Got my first dog

  • Parents got divorced

  • Moved out of the family home with my mom

  • Got married (psychosocial)

  • Got accepted into the Nursing program (cogitative)

  • Graduated from the Nursing program and got a job at Oakwood hospital

  • Pregnant with my daughter (biosocial)

  • My Daughter was born

  • Retire

  • Period: to

    Late Adulthood

  • Teach school children about safety (cognitive)

  • Dx with osteoarthritis (biosocial)

  • Volunteer at grandchildren’s school during health week

  • Proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren ( psychosocial )

  • dx with dementia but they found a cure at this point. Put on medications to slow the progression of the disease. (cognitive)

  • Die peacefully in my own bed while asleep.
