I would give this book an 8/10, because it was an interesting book on how Zelda, not the same one in Then, has to live with her grandfather Felix, who is in Then, after her parents leave Australia to go to Africa to help those who need medical help. Everything is good. But it all changes in an instant. -

This, I thought, was a great book. This book is good for people who are adventurous, but this book is also a very sad book. I loved this book, so I would give it a 10/10. After escaping a train leading to a Nazi death train, Felix and Zelda have to find someone to look after them, and find new identities. -
Breaking Away
I enjoyed reading this book. This is a book about Mitch who desperatly wants to get into the school cycling team. She realises that there is more to cycling than she thought! -
Through Thick and Thin
I enjoyed this book VERY much! I would give it a 9 and a half out of 10. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys adventure, although this book is sad in parts. After Matthew gets his new bike stolen, nothing will ever make him happy. Not even his best mate, Caleb. The BFG - By Roald Dahl
This book was quite interesting, with the funny language that the BFG uses, and the story line. This book, I thought, deserved a 9/10. This popular book is about the BFG ( the Big Friendly Giant), and the 9 nasty giants that, every night, set out to different countries to eat humans straight out of their beds. Sophie and the BFG pull together a desperate plan to stop those horrid giants for good. -
Matilda - By Roald Dahl
I like this book, as it is a funny book. I would give it a 9/10. This well known book is about Matilda Wormwood, her horrible parents, Miss Honey, and the horrid headmistress, Miss Trunchbull. Whilst trying to avoid the horrible Trunchbull, Matilda discovers a special power within her... -
Narnia - C.S. Lewis
I liked this book because there is alot of adventure involved. I would rate this book 8/10, but I would've given it a 9/10 but at the end, it seemed to end quite quickly.
This book is about 4 children who enter the world of Narnia through a magic cupboard, before trying to save Edmund who was taken by the White Witch, who tries to capture all 4 of the children, before Aslan, the Great lion, saves the children to fill the Prophosy that will end the White Witches magic, forever. -

Behind the Curtain - Peter Abrahams
I like this book very much. I would rate this book a 9/10, nearly a 10/10 but I don't think it answered the questions like I thought it would. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes mystery and are a bit adventurous. This book is about a 13 year old girl called Ingrid, who lives in a small town called Echo Falls, America, finding that alot of things are happening to her family, that are unexplainable. She then comes across some suspicious happenings. That is when she gets kidnapped.... -

I LOVE this book! I give this book a 10/10. For me, this book was interesting: Mamo and his older sister Tiggist try to avoid being kicked out of their rental home, after their mother passing away. They live in a shack, on the streets of Addis Ababa. After being taken, Mamo has to escape a life of slavery in the country. Wealthy Dani runs away, escaping his angry father, after not passing his exams. Will they both be able to adapt to their new life in Addis Ababa? 2 books as it has 329 pages. -

This book was quite a good book. I would give it a 7/10... This book is suited for mature readers. I love this book! I would give it a 10/10 because I like the story, and I found that I couldn't put it down! I recommend this book to anyone who is into adventure, or anyone that just likes to read! This book is a very good book. This very sad book scored a 9/10, for its funny ( resulting in sad ) book. This book is suited for mature readers. This book is about 4 friends, who are all running from their own troubles, go for a holiday, for their sick friend, Jeff. Toni is trying to end these upsetting nightmares that she keeps having, about her brother Scotty, who was killed in a car accident. Is this "meant to be" fun holiday end as Courtney had wished, or turn into another nightmare? -

I liked this book very much! I would give it a 9.5/10. This book includes great decriptions. William finds it disturbing to find that, along side his world, their is another world, full of creatures that could never have been believed existing. I would give this book an 8.5/10, because it had alot of adventure, and I enjoy adventure books. This book is about: Jerry Rudd is a member of the SAS. Events leading up to the invasion have altered the remains of the SAS, but they are determined to complete the task. But will the SAS succeed? -

I LOVED this book! I would rate it a 10/10 for a great, and moving story. It is about: Harry is desperate to apologise to his sister who, before the lorry accident which killed him, had an arguement with Harry. Like Harry, Harry's friend Arthur has unfinished business. This popular diary of a young girl, was discovered after the war in 1944, and since then, has been published and people, all around the world, have read this moving diary of what is was like in hiding. A 13 year old Jewish girl, her family, and family friends went into hiding in a old warehouse room, called the Secret Annexe. Wilderness - Roddy Doyle
I loved this book! I give it a 9.5/10. It is a great adventure story: Johnny, Tom and their mother go to Finland for a snow trip, to escape the complications at home between their mother's step-daughter, or the boys' sister, and find themselves stuck in a life-or-death situation when their mother gets lost in a blizzard whilst travelling by sled to a lodge, deep in the forest, and away from any existence of help. Will the boys' be able to locate their mother in time? Read this book to find out! -

I liked this book quite a lot. I give it an 8/10 because it is an interesting adventure story. It is set in the future: Amon lives in Ledron with his Mum. Birds are never allowed in Ledron. They are "extinct', so the Leaders have said. That is why it is so strange when Amon discovers a dove. Also, Amon's Mum, Lydia, is trying to tell him something that is very hard to tell someone. What is it that the leaders are keeping from them, and why are the trying to take Marco, Amon's best friend? -

I really enjoyed this book. I would rate it a 9.5/10. Really good descriptions and is full of adventure: 7 years ago, a fatal shooting incident leaves Duggie's body lost in the Fox Glacier. Tony becomes curious about the incident and begins investigating. How long will it take for Duggie's body to surface in the ice, and where will he look for it? But during his search, he discovers 2 new odd friends who help him search for clues. -
Frog Whistle Mine - Des Hunt
This book was very interesting. I score it a 8/10 for the great storyline: After Tony and his mother Christine move to Charleston, a dull ghost town, Tony instantly becomes friends with the locals in their area. When hearing about the case of a missing French woman, Tony becomes suspicious of a French hating resident. Is this so-called friendly shop owner really what everybody thinks he is, or is he the person that Tony believed him to be? But then something happens that changes everything..... -
The Immortal - Michael Panckridge
This is SUCH a good book! I give it a 9.5/10 for an interesting and great storyline. Although it took a while for me to start enjoying it, in no point of the story did I ever want to stop reading it due to boredom. It's about: Cameron can hear voices in his head from people. People on the verge of death. People who should be dead. When Cameron and his new friend Ben enter the tunnel, what they find will change their lives forever. Jeremy should be dead. Dead 50 years ago. But he is still 32..... -
Cry of the Taniwha - Des Hunt
This is such a cool book! It gets a 10/10 for the great storyline and the interesting characters. It is about: Matt is going to be living with his Grandma and her new husband, Hone, for the Summer holidays. He's not too sure about Hone though. What Matt discovers, with his prized possession (his metal detector), is going to pull together a string of events from over a hundred years ago. All the while, looking out for a boy he met over the fence who is being influenced by a violent gang... -

A really cool story! I read it in a few hours because I didn't want to put it down! I also give this a 10/10 for a GREAT storyline: Jason was enjoying his Summer holiday on their sheep farm in the King Country. That was until Shawn Morris crash-landed into their Jelly Mountain. He's doing something that Jason, alone, can't stop. Tuatara all over the world are rapidly dying. The Peco Incident - Des Hunt
This is a really good book. I rate this book a 9/10 for a great adventure story. It's about: Danny's hyperactive cousin, Nick, is coming to stay with him for the Summer holidays. The thing is that Nick didn't bring his Ritalin, and he is constantly getting into trouble. Then they notice that birds' all around them are becoming ill and dying. That leads them into the mystery of the Peco chicken farm. Is the farm the source of this outbreak, or is there a more fatal source? -
Welcome to Camp Nightmare - R.L. Stine
I thought this book was pretty good. I would give it a 7/10 for an interesting storyline: Billy's mum and dad have sent him to a summer camp, called Camp Nightmoon. But after Billy's cabin mates start to dissapear, Billy becomes frightened and is determined to find the answers of the questions that have been ignored by all of the camp counselors. What is in the Forbidden Cabin, and where have all of his friends gone? -

I would rate this book 8/10 because it was a fast moving book, and didn't stay on one subject for long. -
