Any person who is convicted of disposal of a dead human body shall be fined not less than $5 and not more than $100 ($130-$2600 today)

Illegal Burial
The coroner of the county in which an illegal burial shall disinter or otherwise secure the remains, hold an inquest , and within 3 days thereafter, make a return of his findings upon official blanks to the health officer having jurisdiction. The cost of said inquest may be recovered from the person responsible for the illegal burial. -
Failure to report or comply with the rules and regulation of the ISBH
Failure to report or comply with the rules and regulation of the ISBH shall be deemed a violation of the provisions of this act and be fined not more that $10 ($135 today) -
Fraud
Any person who willfully makes or alters any certificate or certified copy except in accordance with this act shall be fined not more than $50 ($675 today) or be imprisoned not exceeding 6 months. -
Failure to File
Any person who withholds, secretes or refuses to deliver up county or city birth records shall be fined not more than $50 ($675 today) or be imprisoned not exceeding 6 months. -
Transporting a Dead Body
Any person who knowingly transports or accepts for transportation or disposition of any dead body without an accompanying permit issued in accordance to this act shall be fined not more than $50 ($675 today) -

A person who, with intent to defraud, commits a Class A misdemeanor when he/she:
1 Makes a false or fraudulent statement in applying to LHO for a certified copy of birth certificate
2 Makes a false or fraudulent statement in applying to State Registrar for permission to inspect public birth records
3 Alters, counterfeits, or mutilates a certified copy of a birth certificate issued by a LHO or by the state registrar
4 Uses an altered, counterfeit, or mutilated certified copy of a birth certificate -
A person who, with intent to defraud, commits a Class D FELONY when he/she:
- Makes a false or fraudulent statement in applying to LHO for a certified copy of birth certificate
- Makes a false or fraudulent statement in applying to State Registrar for permission to inspect public birth records
- Alters, counterfeits, or mutilates a certified copy of a birth certificate issued by a LHO or by the state registrar
- Uses an altered , counterfeit, or mutilated certified copy of a birth certificate

A person who, with intent to defraud, commits a Level 6 FELONY when he/she:
- Makes a false or fraudulent statement in applying to LHO for a certified copy of birth certificate
- Makes a false or fraudulent statement in applying to State Registrar for permission to inspect public birth records
- Alters, counterfeits, or mutilates a certified copy of a birth certificate issued by a LHO or by the state registrar
- Uses an altered , counterfeit, or mutilated certified copy of a birth certificate
