First accusation
Betty and Abigail begin to blame Tituba for their symptoms and begin accusing her of being a witch Tituba is questioned. -
The first trial of the accused
Tituba, Sarah Osborne and Sarah Good were taken for questioning about the accusations. Tituba was the first to confess and even gives two more names. Sarah proclaims her innocence, and Sarah Good accuses Tituba and the other Sarah of being witches but says she is innocent. -
First execution
Sarah Good, Elizabeth How, Susannah Martin, and Sarah Wildes are all tried in court for witch craft and all are found guilty and hung. Rebecca nurse is also tried but is found innocent. -
The stopping of the trials
Governor Phips stops the trials after his wife is accused and orders the stops of all arrests. He demands that I few people are let out of jail. -
The first signs and symptoms of witch craft
Betty Parris and Abigail Williams begin to exhibit signs of witch craft like making strange noises and complaining of headaches. Around the same time their maid Tituba Says she sees images of the devil in her dreams.
