Betty Parris and Abigail Williams would spend their nights listening to the pastors slave Tituba tell stories and perform magic tricks. These were against the basic puritan way of life. The guilt eventually got to the girls and they started barking and flapping their arms as if they were wings. -
Tituba Admits to Witchcraft
Tituba admits to witchcraft and claims there are other witches in the town. she also says the spirits of the witches will visit the towns people in the night. many historians believe she confessed because she was beaten by reverend parris. -
Girls Shout out 3 Names
With all the presuure, the girls finally cracked, and ahouted out 3 names. Sarah Good, Sarah Osbourne, and Tituba. they were all outcast to society so the town had no problem sending them to trial. -
Girls Start accusing other people
The girls start accusing other people. One was a loving grandmother and pius church goer. There was John Proctor, who was a wealthy farm owner, and dorcus good, a little four year old who was chained to wall. -
Jail Reaches Milestone
Over 100 people would be in the village prison, most of these being people who were accused of witchcraft. -
First Person to be Tried for Witchcraft
The first Person to be tried and found guilty was Bridget Bishop. she was to be executed on june 10, 1692. -
Bridget Bishop Dies
Bridget Bishop was the first Woman to be executed in the salem witch trials. -

Five more people weere executed on this day. There names were Sarah Wildes, Elizabeth Howe, Susannah Martin, Sarah Good, and Rebecca Nurse. -

5 more people were executed. They were George Burroughs, Martha Carrier, George Jacobs, John Proctor, and John Willard. According to legend, George Burrows was about to be executed when he flawlessly recited the lords prayer. This was supposeddly impossible to do. he died right before he could say amen. -

Giles Corey was pressed to death by rocks, an inhumane way to die. -

Martha Corey, Mary Easty, Alice Parker, Ann Pudeater, Margaret Scott, Wilmot Reed, Samuel Wardell, and Mary Parker were all hanged on this day. -
People begin having doubts
By October, people began to doubt the girls accusations. this was probaly because they would call out more well known people, like the governors wife. protest spread across the colony. one boston minister said "It be better that ten suspected witches should escape, than one innocent one be killed. governor fitz order and end to the executions, and pardoned all witches.
