Sacagawea's birth is a profound mystery in the history of America. People claim that she was born in 1786, 1787, or 1788, etc. This is an estimate as to what her birthdate was. -
Sacagawea is captured by the Hidatsa warriors, who take her to a place near the Missouri River. Sacagawea is about 12 or 13 when she is kidnapped by this tribe.

Sacagawea passes away at Fort Manual or the Wyoming Wind River Reservation. There are many theories about her death, but two of these locations are where most historians think she died. According to many sources, she passed away from "putrid fever".
