Around the time Sacagawea was born. Sacagawea is the daughter of the Shoshone Chief, and lived along the Lemhi River in Idaho. -
Adolescence
In the 1800's, Sacagawea and other shoshone women were kidnapped by the Hidatsa tribe. Shen then was sold to a French-canadian trapper Charbonneau. They later had a son in 1805. -

Lewis & Clark met Charbonneau and Sacagawea was chosen to guide them on their expedition to the pacific ocean, -
Early adulthood
Sacagawea gave birth to her second child, Lisette. On December 22, 1812, Sacagawea died at age twenty five. Sacagawea had a serious health issue her whole life.
Clark legally adopted Sacagawea’s children. Clark educated Jean Baptiste, but there is little information on Lisette.
