    Rock A By Baby was one of the first books i rememeber reading, it was first introudced to me as a nursey ryhme so I just sang along to the book.

    In pre-k I was introuded to the famous Dr. Seuss. The cat and the hat was the first book read to me by this author.

    When my teacher opened the page and begin to read a picture popped out and I thought that was the coolest thing ever!

    I was excited about learning to read, I would read the signs on stores, street roads, and grocery stores as we would ride by them.

    I the second grade I was able to check out books from the library, and I remeber one of my first books I checked out was the Hungry Catepillar by Eric Carl.

    The first chapter books I begin to read was by Judy Blume. After reading the first one, I continted to read all of her books. My Judy Blume book was titled Forever.

    I began to lose interest in reading. I did not really enjoy reading anymore I did not feel I was a strong reader.

    For awhile I did not like reading out loud. I was scared of mispronouncing a word or not knowing a word at all.

    My junior year we were required to read a novel by shakespear and I did not enjoy it at all.

    In high school, I did not to much enjoy reading because technology came along and reading was not fun for me anymore. I was asigned to read of mice of men and I loved it, till this day one of favorite books and movies.

    My senior year American Sign Language techer read this book to us the last day school, and I realized childrens books have a more powerful message than we sometimes realize.
