this invention was made in 1869 by George Westinghouse he made them to keep people and goods safe in the ride. the way they work air pipes and couplings go from the front of the train to all the way to the back and all the pips are connected to brakes and wen they need to brake the just have to flip a switch and air goes thru the pipes to the brakes and thus stopping the train -

Luther A Burbank was born on March 7th 1849 in Lancaster Massachuettes and passed away on April 11,1926 in Santo Rosa, CA.
Luther was an American Botanist, Horticulturist and a Pioneer in Agriltural Science. With Luther's knowledge and education, he developed over 800 strains of plants. One of his biggest is the "Idaho Potatoe."
