The March Revolution was when the Russian Revolution began, March 1917. This was a mutiny. The tsar abdicated. Alexander Kerensky helped. -

Vladimir Lenin and the Bolsheviks decide to go through with the revolution. -

On March 3, 1918 Treaty of Brest-Litovisk was signed. Royal family exiled to Siberia. -

The Russian Civil War began in 1918. It began because many groups of monarchists, militarists, and foreign nations disagreed with Joseph Stalin’s Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks became known as the red army and the Mensheviks became known as the white army. -

The Russian Civil War ended in 1921. It lasted three brutal years. -
