The March Revolution
The March Revolution began in Russia when 90,000 textile workers went on strike protesting about the shortage of fuel and bread. A lot of people joined and by the end of the week 400,000 people had enrolled in the cause.

Royal family murdered
Nicholas II and his family was led into the basement at 2am and was told they would be taking a family portrait. When they got downstaris, Yurovsky told the family that they had been sentanced to death by the Ural Soviet of Workers' Deputies. This was because White Russians were closing in on the house where the Romanovs were being kept under guard.
