    The decembrist revolt was a protest that consisted of 3,000 soldiers and a group led by nobles and army officers who protested againt Nicholas the 1st whos brother removed himself from the throne. This was important because this was the first thing that le people to be loyal towards czarism fading and gave hope to rebels to later take over the czar governmnent.

    On this date, Nicholas II became the czar of russia. He became the czar because of his father who had passed away because of kidney disease at age 49. This is important because this is the start of a period of time in Russia.

    Bloody sunday was a protest in Russia on January 22, 1905. What would have been a peaceful protest, turned into a massacre. Georgi Gapon led thousands of peaceful protesters to St. Petersburg asking for requests, and showing a petition. Nicholas the 2nd ordered the soldiers to fire at the protestors which killed hundreds and left hundreds wounded. which gave him the name bloody Nicholas.

    On this date, after WWI large and loud protests began in Petrograd.Most government officials were sent to restore orders, but they couldnt press the large amounts of protesters. This is important because, this event leads to overthrow czar government and abdicate Nicholas II.

Both the Mensheviks and Bolsheviks used to be apart of the same party but later split due to a lot of disagreements. This is important because the Bolsheviks won and expanded Russias land. This is how the USSR later became to be Soviet Union

    Shortly anfter the civil war, Vladimir Lenin formed the Soviet Union (USSR). This was led by the communist party, the societ union became the new communist state of Russia. The Bolsheviks expanded the Russian terrioitiry and marked an end to the Russian Revolution.

    vladimir Lenin at age 54, died of a brain disease, this is important because he was honored greatly. He was embalmed and had a muesue so people can see his body. It is called Lenins Mausoleum in Petrograd, Russia, which now is called Leninsgrad. It also is important because Joeseph Stalin became to next Soviet Union leader.
