The Decembrist Revolt was staged in imperial Russia by army officers who led approaximately 3,000 Russian soldiers. In the end many Russian soldiers were killed or drowned. -

The Russo- Japanese War
The Russo- Japanese War was from February 8, 1904 to September 5, 1905. The war was fought between the Russian Empire and the Empire of Japan over rival imperical ambitions in Manchuria and Korea. Japan won the war. In result of this war Russia's power was declining, there was begining to be poor orginization and leadership. Also there began to be distrust in Russia's leader, Nicholas ll. -
Bloody Sunday
Bloody Sunday was suppose to be a civil meeting for people who wanted more economic equality. While everyone was inside there were shots fired. Many people were killed. In result of this there were more uprisingsm, revolts, and mutines leading to Revolution of 1905. Also this event gave czar Nicholas the name "Bloody Nicholas" -

Russia entered World War 1 to fight against Germany. -
Czar Nicholas ll Abditcates the Russian Throne
This event ebolshied the ruling of czars. This meant there was a collaspe of absulute rule, and no more czar's were going to rule. -
The March Revolution
The March Revolution was focused around Petrograd, now knwon as Saint Petersburg. It formed the Russian Provisional Government. -
The Russian Civil War Begins
A full out civil war broke out in Russia. The disagreement was over the treaty outcome. Part of the Russian Civil War was the cheka, they were secret police. In result of this civil war, it left most of Russia in ruins. Also there was over 6 million deaths. Due to the war and its outcomes the Bolsheviks took over Ukraine, Georgia, Azeibaijan, and Armenia. ALso on elast change is that Lenin came into rule. -

Vladimir Lenin died on Janurary 21, 1924 of a stroke.
