Grigorii Rasputin the man considered a holy man, and a close friend of Nicholas ll was assassinated after many failed attempts. -

A large series of protests that led to the establishment of the monarchy in Russia, during the clashes with troops 1,300 people were killed or injured. -
The Milyukov note
Pavel Milyukov the Russian foreign minister sent a telegram to the Allied Powers about Russia's continued support in the war, it leaked. -

Russian soldiers wouldn't leave their trenches and fight because the lack of moral caused by the Revolution. -

The Bolsheviks take over Petrograd and the Winter Palace, taking away the last stronghold of the Russian Provisional Government. -
Brest-Litovsk Treaty
This ended Russia's participation in WWI and with that the Bolshevik Russia lost a large amount of their population and resources. -

"The Red Terror" started as an assassination attempt on Lenin that led to a large number of mass arrests and executions. -

The Russian Red army invades and seizes Crimea and the White Army was then forced to withdraw from the peninsula.
