  • Decembrist Revolt

    Russians would went on strike and would not opey comand. This was the first true sign the Czars were falling. But they did not fall till much later.

  • Nicholas II becomes czar of Russia

    Nicholas becomes Czar of Russia. But he feels he is unpreapered and not a person that should run a country.

  • The Russo-Japanese War- February 8, 1904

    Russia fought Japan over Mahcnura. It was bad because Japan has a small army and Russia got crushed and it showed they were weak

  • Bloody Sunday

    Workers in Russia want more freedoms. They march down to the winter palece. They find a line of guards and the guards shoot them.

  • World War I (Russian involvement) - August 4, 1914

    At home almost half of the Russian work force is on strike in WW1 making supplies difficut. And on the battle field things are bad Russia is losing more troops than anyone else and hopes are low

  • The March Revolution

    It was choas of who was going to get power of Russia after Nicholas stepped down

  • Czar Nicholas II abdicates the throne

    RUssia struggles in WW1 and people start protesting then the army joins in with them. this ultimently makes Nicholas give up his power and move to a palace were him and his family live in 'peace'

  • The Russian Civil War Begins

    There is a disagrement between the 2 parties in Russia the Mensevikscuites and the Bolsheviks. And 3 years of bloody fighting ocurs.

  • The creation of the USSR

    This happened due to everyone being confused and Lenien and his team stepping in and unifing everyone. And then he started the USSR.

  • Vladimir Lenin’s death- January 21, 1924

    Lenin dies of a stroke and when he dies he warns of Stalin being leader. But no one listens and Stalin becomes leader.
