Bloody Sunday Massacre
A group of workers led by the radical priest Georgy Apollonovich Gapon marched to the czar’s Winter Palace in St. Petersburg to make their demands. Russian forces opened fire on the people and killing about 200 and 800 wounded. -

The March Revolution
It starts when riots and strikes over the scarcity of food erupt in St. Petersburg. The riots and strikes were supported by 90,000 men and women. -
Czar Nicholas II Abdicated the Throne
He was forced to abdicate. Nicholas II and his family were first held at the Czarskoye Selo palace, then in the Yekaterinburg palace near Tobolsk. After a secret meeting, a death sentence was passed on the family, and Nicholas, his wife, his children, and several of their servants were gunned down on the night of July 16. They thought they were going to get a picture but they got shot and killed. -

USSR stands for: Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It was also called the Soviet Union. Russia's government was controlled by communism. -
Vladimir Lenin’s death
Lenin died of a stroke. Russia has kept him under glass for 88 years and counting. They have presserved his body for people to ee him.
