February Revolution
On March 8th protestors in Petrograd, including striking industrial workers clashed with the police. The Petrograd army garrison was called to control the crowd on the 11th where they then opened fire on the people. -
The Russian Revolution
Tsar Nicholas II is overthrown by revolutionaries when he and his family are assassinated. A socialist state is then established by the Bolsheviks.
