1st Day of Run4Fun
Run4Fun bagan in Amesbury, MA as a running camp under the Amesbury Recreation Department. It was a three-week session, with around 15 kids between 3rd to 8th grade initially signed up -
Offically a nonprofit!
Run4Fun filed the 501c3 paperwork and officially became a nonprofit thanks to Amesbury's local atterney James O'Leary for getting involved and Pam Houck, fitness expert and mentor. -
Run4Fun Road Race
First Road Race in Amesbury, MA. 120 runners came out and fronted the cold and rainy weather! -
Summer Session #1
Our first summer session was located at Woodsom Farm in Amesbury, MA for three weeks. Coaches and participants consisted of cross country runners from Amesbury and Newburyport, MA. -
Summer Session #2
The second summer session was also primarily located at Woodsom Farm in Amesbury,MA. However, we had our first field trip to Maudsley State Park in Newburyport, MA. This field trip was to show the runners that you can discover amazing places while running! Overall we had 16 runners during the 2010 summer. -

Crocker Farm Fall Recess Program
Based off the Fitness Finder’s Mileage Club®, Run4Fun went to Crocker Farm Elementary School in Amherst, MA during the recess time of the 3rd graders. We motivated kids to walk or jog more often by setting up a rewards system. Every 4 laps a student runs or walks, they will receive a toe token so they can keep track. By the end of our session, 62 third graders ran 562 miles! -

Summer Camp Expansion
Run4Fun welcomes Bar Harbor and welcomes back Amesbury to the family! Both locations have established 2-week summer running programs.
