Qutub-ud-din Aibak
Qutub-ud-din Aibak was the first ruler of the slave dynasty who ruled from 1206 to 1210. He became the ruler of an independent kingdom that evolved into the Delhi Sultanate ruled by the Mamluk dynasty. Qutub ud din Aibak also had a role in the beautiful architecture of Delhi Sultanate : He constructed two mosques - 'Quwat al Islam' at Delhi and 'Adhai din ka jhonpra' in Ajmer. -

Shams ud-Din Iltutmish
Shams ud-Din Iltutmish, was the third of the Mamluk kings who ruled the former Ghurid territories in northern India. He was the first Muslim monarch to rule from Delhi, and is thus considered the effective founder of Delhi Sultanate. He introduced the silver tanka and the copper jital - the two basic coins of the Sultanate period, with a standard weight of 175 grains. -

Razia Sultana
Raziya al-Din (r. 1236–1240), popularly known as Razia Sultana, was a ruler of the Delhi Sultanate in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent. She was daughter of Mamluk Sultan Shamsuddin Iltutmish. Razia is notable for being the first female Muslim ruler of South Asia. As a Sultan, she brought many reforms in the administration and suppresses the enemy attacks. -

Ghiyas ud din Balban
Ghiyas ud din Balban was the ninth sultan of the Mamluk dynasty of Delhi. Ghiyas ud Din was the wazir of the last Shamsi sultan, Nasiruddin Mahmud. He reduced the power of the treacherous nobility and heightened the stature of the sultan. Balban contributed in Strengthening the position of the Sultan, efficient spy system, liquidation of the Corps of Forty, strengthening administrative structure,etc.
