Charles Martel
Charles Martel known as "the hammer", was born on august 23 686 and died October 22, 741 CE. Charles was the son of Pippin who essiently ruled the country and unfotunetly died in 714 CE. Throughout Charles life he had five wives, many mistresses and over twenty kids. In the 700's charles started preparing to attack through the Muslim Umayyads to the south side. On the seventh day, charles put together all his forces and attacked once again. -

Muslim Invasion
There was a war in India, by the mahmud Ghazni, in 1000 CE. Which started the worst muslim invasion of all time. It lasted for many centurys, the muslim invasion continued while they were still ruling India. Througout this time of Muslim invasions, the Hindus were the ones who were troubled the most. -

Midieval Knights came around the 11th century. They were violent people who forced pesents to accept worship. The knights grew and evolved over time into the 18th century. The nights would also collect saints. -

The Holy wars consist of three elements. Firstly the accomplishment of the religious goals, second being approved by a religious leader. Last element is for everyone who takes part gets a spiritual reward. Many of the wars fought in order of the religon. -

The Crusades
The crusades were basically a serious of fights during the mid evil times. There were series of eight different crusades, they started from 1096 to 1270. Crusades would wear cone shaped helmets, a suit of chain mail, and a crusade shield, and sword & daggers. The curusdades also changed the dark agaes by bringing back books and re building roads. -
The Viking Rage
In 793CE the Vikings started terrorizing. In the 9th century, the vikings were then attacking far into Ireland and North America. -
Charlemange
Charlemagne at the age of only twenty-four became the leader of one of the biggest kngdoms. Then he forced everyone to become the religion of Christianity. If the people didn't listen to him and become Christian, then they would get killed. A result of everyone who got killed he would turn the water into blood. As he was such a terrible man he also brang some good to the country. As he built schools for the people in his country. Later on he ruled as empirer of the West for 14 year -
Alfred The Great
Alfred the great came in the 830 ce and built fortresses. This would help prevent the vikings from attacking.
