Everybody calls it the youngest room, because it has become a separated room in the last 100 years. It has evolved not too much because before it was a separated room, few people used it because their attitude to cleanliness changed. First they thought that germs entered through the skin while you were taking a bath. -

Now, everybody wants to have a private space so shared rooms aren’t as practical that were before. -

Now living rooms are getting smaller because designers are making bigger rooms to en-suite them with bathrooms to have utility rooms and studies. -

Hollywood helped to give a new image to the bathrooms beacuse everybody appeared in the bathrooms taking a relaxing bath. So it turned into a place where people relaxed, meditate and think about their problems because it’s the only room with a lock on the door, so you can feel kind of “safe”.
