The Punic wars were three wars fought between Rome and Carthage. It was one of the largest wars to take place at the time. The reason behind the war was Rome trying to expand and Carthage trying to protect their land. -

Julius Caesar was a Roman dictator that ruled for one year. His rule ended at his death, when he was assassinated. -

Diocletian split Rome into two parts. Then the new emperor Constantine legalised christianity, and moved the capital. -

The first aqueduct was built in 312 B.C. and was an innovation for Rome. The Aqueduct brought fresh water to Rome’s people. -

Romans had a bureaucracy. This was too fix the corrupt system they had before. The roman slave system also worked very well. Slaves could go to court with their masters if untreated fairly. Also if you were a Roman citizen you had many more rights than usual.
