    The destruction of Pompeii and Herculaneum

    The cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum were destroyed by a volcano from mount Vesuvius.The citis and the citizens were covered in ash. That preserved a lot of roman furtniture, food, mosaics, ceramic and even the bodies of the citizens.
