Second Triumpret
The second trtumpret included Lepodus who retired leaving the other members Mark Antony and Octavian.When Mark Antony and Cleopatra started dating distrust formed between him and Octavian. The two fought with each other for power and in the end Octavian won and gained the title of Augustus Ceasar, the exalted one. -

Marcus Aurelius
Was the emporer when Pax Romana ended. Was considered the last good leader. Spent of his time fighting off rebellions and invasions. Chose his son Commondus as next emporer. -

Nero
Nero was another emporer of rome. Like Commondus focused more on entertainment. Wasted the wealth so he set rome on fire. Also christians were percicuted during this time. -

Diocletion
Diocletion divided the empire into eastern and western Rome.
He had four people ruling the empire with him two to the western half and two to the eastern half. this was called a tetrachy. Maximium ruled the west while he ruled thee east. The eastern side of the empire was wealthier and easier to protect. In 305 C.E. Diocletion gave up his status and civil war broke out. -

Constaintine
Commondus won the battle of Milivian bridge. Mad it so the christians could worship freely. In 313 he united the empire. 330 he moved capital to Byzantiman and changed the name to Constaintanople.Trade went on with Asia and the silk road was opened. When he dies ghermanic tribees invade. -

Ruled after father. Began the decline of the empire. Focused time okn entertainment like chariot races and gladiator fights. Had others help him rule. The goverment was low on wealth so he murdered rich citzens and took their wealth.He was assanated on december 31 192 C.E.
