Romulus and Remus were twins that were abandoned by thir mother and taken care of by a wolf. The twins eventually started there own city and Romulus killed Remus and Romuls was then the "founder" of Rome. -

The Roman epire started in 27 BC by eby Augustus and divided in AD 395 into the Western Roman Empire and the eastern or Byzantine Empire. Several territories were taken over like, Britain and Germany to North Africa and the Persian Gulf. -

After Caesar's death, Augustus formed an alliance with Antony which helped him gain the throne of Rome and start the Roman Empire being the first emperor of Rome. He was Julius Caesar's adopted son, and the people were a little bit unsure about him. -
