Jacques Necker hired
the French had lots of debts to repay. he was hired to reduce their extravagance. 2nd estate was not found of Necker's ideas, they did not want to pay so he was fired. -
Storming the Bastille
The Bastille is a symbol of authority and abuse and was a prison for the people who upset the king. The people hear that the king is sending troops to Paris. They killed the commander and took over the Bastille. -

The French Revolution began because the empire was unjust according to the laws of the 1st 2nd and 3rd estate. the 3rd estate was treated unfairly, they payed all taxes, they were denied of a lot and were very poor. in favor to end those ideals the high populated 3rd estate used violence as a technique to revolutionize this empire. -
National Assembly
The declaration of the rights of man... all males were supposedly equal before the law, all had natural rights, liberty, property and security and their position was based of skill. -
King Guillotined
The peoples hatred for the king, caused chaos and he was sent to death where he was beheaded by the killing machine, known as the guillotine. later Louis, the king, his wife will be beheaded as well -
Jacques Meteoric Rise to Power
Necker was a successful general. he justifies much of the empire. however still in complete monarchy. He allows liberty, equality and fraternity. religion was tolerated, peasants were able to own, jobs were based of talent, and he controlled the prices, people were being fed much better. -
The Big Defeat
Napoleon invades with 600,000 troops and russia responded with the scorched earth policy. Winter hit causing hazard and Napoleon retreats. while they are weak Russia attacks. Napoleons reputation is shattered, returns with only 20,000 men left.
