Wilson's Promontory
Wilson's promontory was formed about 12 000 years ago when the sea level was 6 metres higher. This sea level then dropped letting sand dunes form on a Basalt Base creating a land bridge to Tasmania. The sea level then rose again creating Wilson's promontory. -

The Blue Mountains were formed by the immense pressure from the land to the East which caused the ground to buckle and fold forming an elevation of 3000ft in total. -

Mt warning was formed 23 million years ago when a volcano erupted. The central hole of the volcano then cooled forming a mountain. -
