Taxes on glass, paint, oil, lead, paper and tea. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was a street fight t between a "patriot" mob, throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks, and a squad of British soldiers. Several colonists were killed. -
The Tea Act
American colonists could buy no tea unless it came from the East India company. The Tea Act lowered the price on this East India tea so much that it was way below tea from other suppliers. this led to the Boston Tea party. -
Boston Tea Party
Protest against Britshes taxes in which Bostonians disguised as Native Americans dumped tea into the harbor. -
The Battles of Lexington and Concord
British troops sent out from Boston to nearby Concord to seize weapons. The War began with the Battle Of Lexington.
