The French and Indian War
The war was fought primarily between the colonies of British America and New France, with both sides supported by military units from their parent countries of Great Britain and France. -

The Boston Tea Party was a political protest by the Sons of Liberty in Boston, a town in the British colony of Massachusetts, against the British government and the monopolistic East India Company that controlled all the tea imported into the colonies. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre occurred as British troops fired into a group of protesters, killing five of them. This was the first blood. -
Intolerable/Coercive Acts
a series of laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 relating to Britain's colonies in North America. The acts triggered outrage and resistance in the Thirteen Colonies that later became the United States, and were important developments in the growth of the American Revolution. -
Lexington and Concord
A war raged out between the American Patriots and the British Troops in Lexington and Concord after the British went to capture Sam Adams and John Handcock and then later get gunpowder. Luckily, they both escaped but then the British went to get gunpowder and the Patriots went to war between the British. This is important because it led the Patriots into rebellion. -
Declaration of Indepedence
In Philidelphia, Pennsylvania the Second Continental Congress wrote a documnet that delcared independence from Britian. It was important because it claimed that the 13 Colonies were now seperate from the British.
